ARTIST STATEMENT
As a diary keeper, I have always been interested in how personality evolves over time. I am not the same person I was years ago and I constantly reflect on what exactly shaped this change.
Through my art I continue my research on the alchemy of human soul and the triggers that change our reality. In an era shaped by AI-based knowledge, I return to books as fragments and archives of human wisdom. In my works, carefully selected pages from my private library form layered backgrounds behind the central figure, showing traces of accumulated thought.
These collage-like structures reveal fragmented histories that shape individual identity. Red threads show complex interconnection between humans and the world surrounding us. They are the invisible forces that form us: relationships, influences, attachments, control or fate.
I capture the chronotope of the moment when our perception shifts and a new stage of consciousness emerges. My works function as visual diaries of these transitions, tracing a process of transformation within our minds.
I see the evolution of consciousness as a necessary condition for personal and collective development. My work aims to contribute to this ongoing process.
